Policies

Interviews:
Each child is interviewed in the presence of parents and is given a musical background evaluation to determine the extent of previous musical experiences.

Lessons:
Lessons are 45, 60 or 90 minutes.
Weekly lessons are scheduled from September 1st through the year with most of Federal and State Holidays and 4 (four) weeks of vacation for each family.
In the event that the teacher must cancel a lesson for personal reasons, the lesson will be rescheduled at a later date.

Tuition:
Tuition is paid monthly, based on how many weekly sessions are in that month. Tuition is due on the LAST session of the preceding month, unless other arrangements are made in advance. All Federal and State Holidays will be observed at no charge.

Late Fees and Check Charges
A late fee of $10.00 will be applied if Tuition is not paid by the 10th of the next month. Example: October tuition is due the last scheduled session in September.
A fee of $30 will be charged for any returned checks.

Assignment Book:

Each student will get a notebook for weekly assignments and other resources.
All music books and the assignment notebook must accompany the student to every lesson.
The written homework in the assignment book is a student's link to daily home practice.
A carrying case for the protection of materials is recommended.

Missed/Cancelled Lessons:
There will be no make-up lessons for missing or canceled lessons.
In case of Ms. Natalya's illness or cancelation of student's lesson, a free make up lesson will be scheduled as soon as possible.

Lesson Breaks:
There are NO lessons scheduled on the following dates:
September - Labor Day holiday
November - Thanksgiving Holiday
December - Winter break from Christmas till New Year
May - Memorial Day holiday
